Membership & voting rights

Membership in the Missouri Association of Natural Gas Operators (MANGO) follows the MANGO By-Laws and is open to investor-owned and municipal natural gas utility operators in Missouri that fall under the safety jurisdiction of the Missouri Public Service Commission. Each operator may appoint one representative as its “Voting Operator Member.” This member has one vote in all elections and motions and may serve in any position to which they are elected or appointed.

A Voting Operator Member’s voting rights are separate from those of a Board Member, unless the Voting Operator Member also serves on the Board of Directors. Voting Operator Members vote on polls arising from general meeting discussions, while Board of Directors members vote on polls conducted during Board meetings.
